Application Specialist/Senior Application Specialist - Technical Support

We are looking for a positive, energetic and self-motivated person to become part of a world class support organization.

Job Responsibilities will include:

  • On-Site and Remote Installation of Data Innovations’ Instrument Manager Solution (25-30% travel is required)
  • Technical Support for Instrument Manager Software and general instrument interfacing
  • Customer Training
  • Special Projects and internal documentation

This position requires:

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent customer interaction skills
  • A proven problem solving approach

Experience with the following is a plus:

  • Clinical laboratory experience
  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a technical field or relevant experience
  • Cache and Visual Basic
  • Serial device connectivity (build / diagnose cabling issues)
  • Network Device Servers (terminal servers)
  • Instrument Interfacing
  • Lab Information System Software
  • Hands-on experience with Instrument Manager is a strong plus


Implementation Consultant

Responsibilities of the Implementation Consultant is to provide fee-based consulting services to targeted customers to facilitate the implementation, training and use of the Data Innovations, Inc. products to optimize their clinical laboratory business goals.

The Implementation Consultant (IC) is required to have at least 3 years experience as a licensed Medical Technologist (ASCP, NCA or equivalent).

The Implementation Consultant(IC) is required to have at least a general understanding of the roles of the laboratory information system(s), analytical and automation instrumentation and how they interoperate.

The candidate is required to have excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to create solutions identified while consulting with customers.

25% to 35% travel will be required.

Candidate must also have excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills. Sales and/or consultancy experience a plus.


Development Software Engineer

We are looking for a positive, energetic person, whose responsibilities will include software requirements definition, design, coding, and testing. Some system support and travel will be required as needed. This position requires strong interpersonal and customer interaction skills. Experience with InterSystems Caché and Microsoft Visual Basic is a plus. Clinical laboratory knowledge is also a plus. A minimum of an Associate’s degree in programming or relevant experience is required.
