Sales Administration Assistant
Wholly responsible for the day-to-day administration of the sales activities of Data Innovations Europe.
- Participation in the adaptation of the corporate CRM system to the particular needs of Data Innovations Europe.
- Use of that CRM system to coordinate the entire workflow from initial customer contact through offers to orders, production, delivery, and "pre-invoice".
- Manage the support and maintenance contracts with existing clients. (Confirmation of the current use of our systems on the site, request for renewal, processing of renewal)
- Direct contact with clients for administrative issues
- Standard processing of official submissions for government contracts, particularly in France
- No sales or sales prospection
- Collaboration with Finance Manager for invoicing
- Back-up to receptionist for telephone answering.
Profile of person needed
- Ability to work independently with minimum guidance from management
- 10 years experience in a similar function
- Resistance to stress
- Highly developed personal time management
- Languages
- Excellent French
- Excellent English
- Good Dutch
- Other languages an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
Middleware Sales Specialist
- Develops and maintains relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential accounts for the company's middleware products (LPM and IM).
Ensures that organizational goods or services consistently meet client needs by using technical knowledge of product offerings to support and build sales.
Responsible for handling client accounts of all sizes in a particular geographic region, either direct (end-user) or indirect (through Business Partners).
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Assesses potential application of company products or services in order to offer solutions that meet customer needs.
Sets and manages client expectations and supervises the management of client complaints when expectations are not met.
Works with the Sales and Marketing and Customer Service teams to perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: handling customer enquiries, generating sales quotations, processing orders, preparing correspondence, processing support renewals, participating in trade shows, conducting customer demonstrations, conducting business partner sales training.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This position requires initiative, excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will preferably have the following education and/or experience :
- A diploma from an institution of higher learning (post-secondary school)
- At least 5 years of experience in the "in vitro diagnostic" field (e.g., lab technician in a clinical or industrial laboratory, sales or support with a LOS/LIMS vendor or an IVD device vendor).
- Fluent written and spoken English, French and at least one other language used in the Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) region. More language skills are an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
This position reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager.
