Application Specialist
Data Innovations Asia Customer Service Team is looking for a positive, energetic and self-motivated person to become a member of our world class Service and Support team for potential future growth.
Job Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Technical support for Instrument Manager Software and general instrument interfacing
- Resolve and respond to customer requests in a timely manner
- Customer advocate
- Customer education
- Basic On-Site and Remote Service for Data Innovations’ Instrument Manager Solution (25-30% travel maybe required)
- Internal documentation: creation and maintenance
- After hours support
This position requires:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent customer interaction skills
- A proven problem solving approach
- Working knowledge of: computer hardware, computer networking, Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a technical field or relevant experience
Experience with the following is a plus: Clinical laboratory experience as a licensed General Medical Technologist (ASCP, NCA or equivalent) with knowledge of:
- Laboratory workflow in multiple areas of a clinical laboratory
- LIS (laboratory information system) software administration
- CAP requirements
- InterSystems' Caché
- Serial device connectivity (build/diagnose cabling issues)
- Network device servers (terminal servers)
- Instrument interfacing
- Hands-on experience with Instrument Manager is a strong plus
- VmWare’s virtual machines
